Who doesn’t like a fairy cake
With icing on the top!
And I bet I’ll like the ones you make
More than ones bought in a shop!
Getting Started:
Put all of the ingredients into a big bowl then mix them and whisk them until you have a smooth, creamy liquid.
Scoop a spoonful into each bun case, or into the dips in a bun tin (this recipe should be enough for 12 Fairy Cakes)
Put them in the oven and cook for about 10-15 minutes. You’ll know they’re ready when you press on them gently and they spring back into shape.
Once they have cooled you can decorate them anyway you want!
Some Suggestions:
This would make a great gift idea for someone. Pop the cakes into a nice box or tin and give them to someone who has made you happy this week.
Tips!
You’re not just making food, you are teaching science in action; helping to lay down basic math, reading and time-telling skills; encouraging healthy food choices; building confidence and creativity; enhancing communication and deepening connections with your child. Indeed, cooking with little ones is nothing short of awesome.
