Now it’s a football, now it’s a cube
Now it’s like toothpaste straight from the tube,
Look! Now it’s Batman wearing his cape
When you roll it around you can make any shape!

Getting Started:

All of the ingredients – apart from the glitter – are things you’d find in the kitchen so don’t worry, you can use a mixing bowl without ruining it!

Just put all the ingredients together in the bowl, stir them together and knead them like you’re making bread. In fact, it’s quite like the dough you made into bread but I don’t know any bread recipe that uses so much salt! Or glitter!

Fine Motor Skill Development: Great for strengthening muscle tone in little hands – squishing, squashing, rolling, flattening play dough all develop children’s muscles and encourage prewriting and other skills such as cutting with a scissors, using a tweezers, holding a pencil etc.
